Paul Bishop founded Bishop Design in Dubai in 2004. Over the past two decades, the practice has developed an international portfolio spanning hospitality, commercial, retail and residential interiors.
With studios in Dubai and Miami, Bishop Design has worked across the Middle East and international markets, creating restaurants, hotels, bars, entertainment venues and private residences.
Bishop’s work is particularly recognised for its strong sense of atmosphere. Materiality, lighting, architectural form and branding are brought together to create interiors that are immediately recognisable and memorable.
His hospitality projects demonstrate a belief that a successful interior should create an experience rather than simply provide an attractive setting.
